ShopSindhu is a billing, stock and profit app for local shopkeepers. Know your real profit, keep your costs hidden from staff, and keep billing even when the internet is gone. No internet? No problem. It all syncs when you are back online.

Know your real profit

Every sale uses the cost of the batch it came from. No guessing from one flat buying price.

Staff see less, you see all

Cashier and helper phones never get your buying price or profit. A blind cash count at shift end shows the difference.

Never lose a sale

No network? Keep billing. Everything is saved on the phone and sent when the network returns.

What ShopSindhu does

Built for a busy counter. Everything below is already built into the app.

Bills in seconds, even offline

Bills are saved on your phone first, so billing never waits for the network. A bill in progress survives closing the app.

Find any item fast

One search bar takes a short item number, a name or a barcode. Type 14*2.5 to add 2.5 of item 14. Loose items with no barcode get a short number you can write on the sack.

Scan with the camera

Point the phone camera at a barcode to see the item with its price and stock. Adding it is your choice, so a stray scan never changes the bill.

Stock, by batch

Add stock when it arrives, with its buying price. New stock never overwrites old stock, and the oldest batch sells first. Items sit in groups such as Grocery, Medical and Hardware.

Edit any item

Tap (i) on an item to open its page. The owner can change the name, barcode, category, selling price and low-stock level, or remove the item (its history is kept). Cashier and helper phones see the page read-only, with no cost. Saving changes needs internet.

Reduce or correct stock

Owner only: take off damaged, expired or lost stock with a reason. It counts as a loss at what that batch cost, so Net profit stays honest. You can also fix a wrong buying price on a batch.

True profit

Profit comes from what each batch really cost, not one flat price. See it for a day or a range of dates in the Profit tab. Net profit also subtracts stock you took off as a loss.

Your costs stay yours

Cashier and helper phones never receive your buying price, batch cost or profit. Our server removes them before anything reaches a staff phone.

More than one counter

Pair extra phones with a QR code. Owner and cashier bill at the same time. A helper packs the bag and sends the cart to the cash counter with a token number.

Cash count at shift end

The cashier types the cash counted without seeing what the bills add up to. You see the difference.

Cash and UPI, no fee

Show a UPI QR that pays your own UPI ID directly, with no payment gateway and no fee. You confirm when the money arrives.

Safer billing

A phone will not bill more than the stock it knows about: a message says so and offers Stock IN. Before a sale is finished the app asks “Complete this bill?”. The scanner shows your bill, and Back asks before you leave the app.

Discounts and past bills

Give a flat ₹ or a percent discount on a bill. The History tab lists past bills.

Low-stock list

The Low Stocks tab shows what is running low, using the level you set for each item, before a customer asks for it.

Restock offers from salespersons

If you turn sharing on, salespersons added in your area can see what is running low and send a restock offer. Accept it and the stock is added as a new batch. Sharing is your choice. Salespersons are being added in stages.

We want a customer to open the bill from a link with nothing to install, to look for a shop or an item nearby, and to keep the bills they were sent. None of this is switched on yet.

    Download

    Tap Download for Android in the Download section below. The file ends in .apk.

    Open the file

    Open it from your notifications or the Downloads folder.

    Allow the install

    If asked, allow Install from this source for your browser, then tap Install.

    Sign in

    Open ShopSindhu and enter your phone number. For now we give you the sign-in code ourselves: write to us (see Contact).

Install only from this page. ShopSindhu is not on the Play Store yet, so do not install a ShopSindhu file from anywhere else. Android only.
